LOL hello can u believe im actually kinda confused about this too!!! ok so everyone PLEASE feel free to correct me on this because i only know this from little stuff i see in the tag but i believe this has to do with this huge headcanon of keith being obsessed with cryptids? 🤔Not sure how else to explain that properly without butchering it hah so plsss google that since they explain it better…anyway as for the headcanon people say hes obsessed with cryptids and conspiracy theories because of the scene at his shack in the pilot episode i believe? and mothman is one of those cryptids lmao hope that makes sense😫

@klance Oh boy, let me tell you about this lovely legend from my beautiful home state. Mothman is a story originating in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in the mid 1960s.

The story goes that over the course of about a year, multiple sightings were reported of a large, man-shaped creature flying around the woods. The best account is from a young couple, who say that a large man with wings and glowing red eyes passed in front of their car’s headlights. It was even blamed for a bridge collapsing not long after the stories began circulating.

The creature was dubbed Mothman, and became a famous figure in the city. While no evidence was ever found of its existence, the city still holds a Mothman festival, and has a statue of the creature.

Thus, conspiracy theories and cryptids.

i think i read a little bit about this on google but omfg!!! that is so eerie and i didnt know they had a festival and a statue oh my god. Idk if i should be amazed or scared hahah
