Due to work and some unexpected family trouble, this is a lot later than expected. But, I couldn’t let this week go by without participating.
I love the duality of Shin Soukoku, and the emotions they bring out in each other. Akutagawa brings an excitement to Atsushi, and in return Atsushi brings calm to him. I chose both quotes for the inspiration of this piece because I imagine inside, Akutagawa is still that small boy with the flowers on his coat. Atsushi, through his unfathomable determination, lights that spark in him to break down his walls.
