someone-save-meeee:

listen, fushimi saruhiko is the most rebellious, social-justicey shit ever. let’s talk about how this kid hates respecting authority simply for authority’s sake and hates being forced to respect people especially when they don’t deserve it. let’s talk about how he will respect people but only if they’ve shown themselves respect-worthy and never simply because he was told to. let’s talk about how he doesn’t always do what he’s told to. let’s talk about how he literally got up and walked out of class when the teacher started using grades to insult him and yata while the teacher was looking right at him and speaking to him. let’s talk about how he openly despises convoluted societal rules and their oppressive nature. or how he hates catering to the rich and powerful just because they’re rich or powerful. or how he hates the ‘grades are all that matters’ attitude despite getting amazing test scores. let’s talk about how he dropped out of school, refused to go along with what was expected of a genius like himself, and instead tried to take on JUNGLE because he saw they were malicious and toxic. or how he doesn’t like the idea of kings holding all the power and everyone else just blindly following them. he told munakata (to his face, might I add) that the power of kings was destructive and potentially dangerous and that he didn’t intend to be controlled by it. we’re talking about the kid who questions everything (even himself, often). who takes nothing on face value. he’s restless, impatient for change, discontent. munakata literally won him over by telling him he also hated the system and planned on changing it.
