i’m so glad that NOBODY accepts loki’s death. i have not one seen person who has been like, “ya i’m ok with this.” and i don’t just mean not believing it to be true, i mean believing it to be poorly written and insulting to his character. if they were planning on truly killing him off, i would’ve felt a lot better if he went out with a bang. whether he’s really gone for good or not, he deserved so much better. even deserved a better death if you have to kill him (which you don’t but go off ig) but anyways, here is my point

theoretically, if loki is supposed to be dead for good right now, all the negative feedback can bring him back in the next film. i say this with confidence because tom hiddleston recently came out and said that loki’s death in the dark world was supposed to be real, but the test audiences reacted so badly that they rewrote it and brought him back in the end. and if they are not already planning on keeping him dead, cool! we can make this a win-win situation! so please guys, LET’S GIVE THE RUSSO BROTHERS HELL FOR THIS AND BRING HIM BACK

As hopeful as this is, would they really bring him back twice? And not all people are dissatisfied, even though his death was heart wrenching, many think him dying for his brother was the completion of his Redemption arc. I think the movie showed two different types of deaths, actual murder, and then the death due to the infinity stones. The infinity stone deaths can be undone w the stones, but the murder? Not so sure they would bring Loki back…also, they went to such lengths to throw us off guessing the movie. Editing the Hulk into clips, killing of the new and young Avengers and not the old ones like we expected. So we expect them to bring Loki back because they did it once, theyre not gonna give us what we expect. Especially with the time travel theories too. Every one thinks Dr Strange is going to get the time stone and reverse everything. I doubt it would be so

well first of all they’ve brought him back twice already (falling from the pit of the first movie, and him posing as odin in the 2nd) so ya this would be the THIRD time and it wouldn’t be shocking. and secondly he doesn’t HAVE to DIE to be redeemed, he fully redeemed himself when he left sakaar to go to asgard and help save the people.

i mean come on do you really think his character would be so dumb as to go after thanos with a little dagger? when he has all these gifts? do you really think the “i assure you the sun will shine on us again” line was just thrown in there randomly for giggles? the writers aren’t that capricious.

they would bring loki back because the death was so cheap and poorly written i refuse to believe it was true, they would bring him back bc they’ve already done it multiple times so doing it again is not out of the question, they’d bring him back because he is loved by so many people and i don’t think they are so heartless as to keep him dead after taika worked hard to put him on the road to happiness.

I’m calling it now. Tom is taking the break he said he might a few years back. If the movies had followed the comic plotlines, Loki would have died in Ragnarok and been displaced into the body of Sif. Tom has expressed wanting this to happen. Part two would be a great place for that reveal in the most “gotcha” of moments. Lady Loki would be an instant fan-favorite and I’m sure marketing knows this. (Because what could possibly sell better than actual Disney Princess Loki?) Thor’s reactions would be priceless, too.
