If you ever feel bad that your own writing is coming off too unrealistic, just remember that there is literally a part of Death Note where Matsuda is rescued from dying by doing a fake drunk handstand on a hotel balcony, then dropping onto a mattress his buddies somehow set up perfectly a few storeys below him, while Aiber lies on the ground outside in a wig pretending to be dead Matsuda, and Wedy screams and narrates exactly what happened for passersby, and then Light and L come up in an ambulance in rly cute paramedic outfits and take Aiber away, & then all they have to do is plant a news article about the accident in the newspaper, and Yotsuba group as a whole is just like: “yes this is normal, let’s never look into this further again” lolol
